A great opportunity for someone who wants to live on the edge of a village and have all the facilities that brings, along with a large piece of land planted with a great variety of fruit trees.

This traditional Alpujarra village house is situated on the edge of the village. You have the benefits of mains services, water, electricity and drainage but attached to the house is a plot of land just under 9000m2. The land is planted with a large variety of fruit trees, mulberry, apple, olive, almond just to name a few, also a fenced vegetable garden. The house is entered from the street into an entrance hall, off of which there is access to two double bedrooms, a third smaller room used as an office. The hall leads through into a large open plan kitchen dining room with access to a double aspect sitting room with French doors leading out onto a covered terraces area with space for dining BBQ, overlooking the alberca (water storage tank). There is a spiral staircase leading to the roof of the house affording views over the land. Step lead down to the land where a path leads through to a terraced area and towards the chicken shed, then there are several different areas of land, (see attached plan) . The property has car access which is unusual for a village property.

Services

Location

The municipality of Juviles is located in the central part of La Alpujarra Granadina. It limits with the municipalities of Trevélez, Bérchules, Lobras, Cástaras and Busquístar. Much of its municipal area, located on a small plateau surrounded by chestnut trees, is located in the Sierra Nevada National Park. Likewise, the core itself and the land below it are part of the Historical Site of La Alpujarra. Juviles is structured as a "town street" on the lake of the provincial highway, which also crosses the population center, dividing it into two distinct parts: the Barrio Alto and the Barrio Bajo. This road organizes its structure and the main streets run parallel to the road, which in turn, is drawn following the contour lines. This fact, together with the relatively flat topography on which the nucleus is based, means that it does not have the long and steep streets so characteristic of the towns of La Alpujarra. For the rest, Juviles keeps the most traditional peculiarities of the region, with narrow streets, nooks, tinaos.
